Dr. Christina Lee is a Maryland native and received her undergraduate degree from UMBC in Biological Sciences. She then obtained a Certificate in Massage Therapy at PMTI. Christina continued to further her training and attained her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls which included being selected to a prestigious three-month internship at a neurology center in Long Island.
Dr. Lee is committed to providing safe, comfortable, and effective care to all new and existing patients. Her philosophy is to create customized treatment plans founded on evidence-based research and personal experience to restore normal range of motion and improve function in every day and extracurricular activities. She performs thorough evaluations using orthopedic tests, neurological tests, and muscle tests to design the right treatment protocol to address her patient’s health concerns. While her doctorate training provided techniques such as Diversified chiropractic manipulation, Thompson Drop Table, Cox Flexion/Distraction, Sacro-Occipital, Graston, muscle releasing soft tissue manipulation, and nutrition, her continuing education includes additional modalities as FAKTR, therapeutic and functional taping, and Dry Needling.
Christina’s 15+ years of therapy experience has made her successful in treating ailments such as back and neck pain, but her passion lies in the treatment of chronic pain (pain of unknown causes that frequently recur or “won’t go away”), headaches/migraines, radiculopathies (nerve pain including numbness and tingling into hands and feet), sports-related injuries (such as sprains, strains, and concussions), and extremity conditions (including those of the hips, knees, ankles, and shoulders). She also believes in empowering and educating the community by utilizing her knowledge in the practice of Chiropractic and Rehabilitation to promote health and wellness, improve function, enhance performance, and develop the integrity of the human body as a whole.
